What If We Let Love In? How to Reconnect With Yourself in a Distracted World
In a world of constant noise, distraction and emotional overwhelm, we forget the power of returning to our centre. This reflection explores what happens when we reclaim our energy and reconnect with the inner wellspring that nourishes us.

The Scatter of Modern Life
What if, instead of dispersing our energy everywhere, we brought it back to centre?
Rather than gushing it all out; on he said, she said, the latest news we can do nothing about, silly stories and catastrophes created to illicit a reaction and harvest our loving essence.
The Inner Well We Forget
Instead, if only for a moment, what if we allowed ourselves to bathe and be replenished in the source of everything?
Not the one that has been painted for us out there but the one each individual can tap into within.
A well so abundant it could hydrate the driest of deserts, for an untold amount of draws.
Can you imagine a feeling so radiant and full that only an integral soul can keep hold?
Do you know what it is to have a heart burning with this love, a purity of being, a lightness in it all?
Holding Our Light in a Heavy World
Darling, despite the horrors can you keep your sparkle, is this the reality you live in? Do you want it? Are you working for it?
Because if it isn’t, I can only imagine what lays in hold. If all hope has left home and only an empty shell lays bare to be filled with the creepiest of shadows, you can bet they will come forth.
The love once pure, washes out onto unworthy idols, warped ideas and industrial strongholds rooted in dark arts. Influenced by trends, told what to behold, the empty shell is tethered.
Identities Built Away From Wholeness
The truth is there are too many people who have found an identity for themselves that isn’t connected to our wholeness.
Abuse and manipulation, disrespect and hatefulness. Completely broken, they’ve strayed far, far away from the pure intelligence of the heart.
Attachments and anchors that keep them looping along to other agendas. Efforts and trials accomplished for someone else’s goals.
The Unseen Wounds That Dictate Our Behaviour
A darkness of being never harnessed, not even explored. Incapacity to balm over, and heal those weeping sores. Tame the wild beast that ravages at their core.
There are such twisted ideas amongst us, a system in place so that none of this makes sense.
The programming blocks it, there is no resonance.
But for those that can feel it, if we can let pure love flood in. Make it a constant.
We might just have a chance at healing, each of our broken hearts.
Yours whimsically,

For a more practical anchoring, you can ground yourself through simple, slow tasks like making tibicos water kefir. It’s a straightforward task with a rhythm, and it brings you back into your body rather than your head. Check out my guide: https://thesortinghouse.eu/blog/how-to-make-homemade-tibicos-fruit-kefir/
